Every trip we run can be a private departure — your group only, on your dates, with a dedicated guide, support vehicle and mechanic. Or we build a fully custom gravel itinerary around your riders: your regions, your daily distance, your rest days, your accommodation level. This page explains what private and custom mean, how a request becomes a confirmed trip, and what is verified before anything is final.
A private departure is any published tour, overnight or expedition run for your group alone: an expert local guide who knows every piste, a support vehicle carrying water, food, luggage and spares, mechanical support, and accommodation booked for your group. Multi-day trips include a guesthouse or lodge every night, breakfasts, dinners and picnic lunches on riding days, and transfers from Marrakech. Bike rental — gravel, premium gravel or MTB — is available for every rider.
A custom trip starts from your brief: dates, number of riders, experience level, the regions you want — Atlas, Sahara, Anti-Atlas, Atlantic coast — and how far you want to ride each day. We design the route, the support and the accommodation around that brief, drawing on the same verified route network behind our published tours. You can combine regions and formats, add rest days, or split long days in two. Nothing is fixed until you agree the itinerary.
A request is not a confirmed booking. When you send your dates we check them against guide availability, support vehicles, transport, accommodation and route conditions for that season — then reply with what is possible and the final price for your group. Only when you agree everything is the trip confirmed, and a small deposit secures your place. Nothing is charged at the request stage.
Every trip is offered at four tiers — Budget, Standard, Comfort and Premium — so you choose the accommodation level and group format that fits your budget. As verified context from our published collection: day rides start from €140 per person, 2-day overnights from €550, 5-day tours from €995 and 12-day expeditions from €1,800. Private departures are quoted for your group size and season; larger groups and shoulder seasons lower the per-person price. We confirm the exact price with your availability reply.
Request a date through the booking form or contact us. We confirm availability and send a quote; a small deposit secures your place and the balance is due before departure.

It depends on the trip difficulty. Each trip page states the honest fitness and experience requirements — read the difficulty and safety sections. Day rides need moderate fitness; multi-day expeditions need excellent fitness.
We monitor conditions and hold bad-weather alternatives. No one rides a closed pass or an impassable piste; we reschedule or reroute and are flexible on genuine weather cancellations.

The main season runs September to May. Spring (March–May) and autumn (September–November) are ideal for the Atlas and Sahara. Winter suits the desert, Anti-Atlas and coast; summer is too hot for the lowlands but works for high-altitude Atlas routes.
